Graspify
Graspify. Make a course. Take a course.

Invest in your employees and turn their knowledge into competence. They are your future.
Graspify is a Norwegian startup created within the Kjentfolk society. Supported by education specialists, Graspify creates a Microlearning Platform that introduces a science-based approach to the human learning process.
Their objective is to disrupt the way employees learn new content in the companies that employ them.
The challenge
Graspify employs specialists whose vision of educating people has a disruptive dynamic. However, having a vision is one thing. Turning that vision into a functional product is quite often another.
Process
The project was divided into smaller steps, each having a separately assigned budget. Each step was then followed by user tests conducted in either a 1-on-1 format or in a larger ‘friendly’ group context.
In January 2021, we went through the product discovery process and finalized it with a clear vision of the scope for Graspify 1.0.
The next stages were dedicated to building MVP (Graspify 1.0 and 1.1) and the extended version of the MVP (Graspify 2.0 and 2.1).
The latter was used by Graspify clients for their internal events.

First Discovery process
Startup House was tasked with building a comprehensive vision of the product. In what is called the Product Discovery stage, we focused on the most basic, rudimental processes/flows, and testing how the users interact with short, course segments – or, ‘Grasps’.
The balance between the shape, length, complexity and simplicity of the Grasps was the primary challenge. As a result of this Product Discovery, we have Graspify 1.0, the first MVP version.

Graspify 1.0 and 1.1
With Graspify 1.0, we enabled trusted clients/users to create both Grasps (5-6-slide minicourses) and courses. They were users from large Norwegian companies interested in finding innovative, micro-learning approaches within their organizations.
We’ve since gained a considerable amount of data for analysis.

Graspify 2.0 and 2.1
The Graspify product is currently being implemented in a few Norway-based corporate accounts, a process that involves live testing on corporate events. The results of MVP1 were applied to the scope of Graspify 2 (2.0) development.
The results of client events will be used for the Graspify 2.1 version, which is planned for development in the near future.

The solution
At the moment, the Graspify platform enables corporate accounts to create their own learning content, invite course takers (employees), and manage access to Grasps and courses.
Furthermore, the management team can collect data on content views and the progress of the learning process.
The system suggests subsequent courses and Grasps based on what current progress is being made.
In sum, it provides users with a scientifically-based mode of learning that is quick, easy and efficient.
The results
In August 2022, a Graspify client organized an event for several hundred employees.
Graspify MVP (2.0) was the main tool for educating these employees about the new products and internal processes.
