About the client
Toyota Motor Corporation is a global automotive industry leader manufacturing vehicles in 27 countries or regions and marketing the company’s products in over 170 countries and regions. Founded in 1937 and headquartered in Toyota City, Japan, Toyota Motor Corporation employs nearly 350,000 people globally.
The app is meant for customers whose computer literacy levels are very different user-to-user. We decided to start from scratch and take a utilitarian approach to the UX. Only show what’s crucial and not overwhelm the users with information. We managed to create a design that’s minimalistic but informative.
The company wanted to take its mobile app to the next level. The goal was to make the interface clear and transparent and at the same time visually appealing. The app’s users were not very tech-savvy so we had to make it as user-friendly as possible.
We advised the client to redesign the whole app in order to make it more user-friendly. Additionally, we added a new feature - a loyalty program based on the provided mockups. The program’s aim was to increase users' engagement in the product.
