What our Clients say?

The challenge
Expansion outside Norway was one of DX’s key business objectives. To make this happen, they needed to vastly improve Customer Experience. For that purpose, the company decided to improve the technology and the design aspect of its platform. DX has had a long list of clients in Norway, and about 20 years of presence in the market. However, most of the technology used on their platform was based on legacy code, which can be difficult to scale up. Furthermore, as principles in user experience have changed dramatically over the last few years – not to mention a corresponding change in customer habits and behavioural patterns – the client decided to refresh their product, incorporate the latest technological applications to it and rebuild from scratch those components most needing renovation. Prior to the design and development works, SDH planned and performed a proper Product Discovery.
Product Discovery
The discovery process consisted of 5 stages driven by the logical order:
- Project launch & Initial research
- In-depth Interviews with users
- Discovery workshops
- Prototyping
- User tests
- Scoping and prioritization
To complete the process, we used several tools used by best Product Management teams:
- In-depth interviews
- On-line user testes
- Service Safari and Personas identification
- Customer journeys
- Ideation sessions
- Various canvases (Business Model Canvas, Context Canvas)

Scope of work
We started with a desk and user research. Equipped with a freshly-gained market knowledge we conducted workshops focused on ideation. Finally, we prioritized the features and prototyped the new checkout module. Later, we run user testing sessions. We improved on the designs, and created development backlog.

The solution
The most important decisions made during the process concerned users we wanted to target and their key problems we wanted to solve via the DX solution. Therefore, the crucial elements were ideation and In-depth Interviews with potential users. We identified following key steps and outcomes:
Workshops deliverables
An initial list of features based on research and workshop phases.
Prototype & User Testing
Killer feature discovered
Scope of works
Prioritized list of features (first draft for MVP)
The Results
The result was a designed checkout and client-facing module for the DX platform. Not only was it user-tested, but it was also based on focused market research and sound user feedback. As such, DX were fully furnished with all the materials they required for effective product development.
