Senior Accountant Specialist

Our Finance Team is growing and looking for fresh blood – we’re currently on the hunt for an independent Senior Accountant Specialist, who will help us in daily operations. Responsibilities

  • Management and analysis of our accounts, as well as settlement and accounting of invoices and expenses,
  • Preparation of reports and financial statements for our company,
  • Audit service and cooperation with external institutions (e.g. US, GUS, NBP),
  • Tax calculation and preparation of tax returns (CIT, VAT, PIT),
  • Ensuring compliance with the above with the latest legal provisions (Accounting Act, Tax Regulations),
  • Calculation of salaries and drawing up our payroll,
  • Identifying and implementing potential process improvements, as well as support in financial projects and standardization initiatives.

Requirements

Experience:

At least 3 years of experience in a similar role,
Higher degree in the economic/finance field.

Tech skills:

Excellent knowledge of Polish Accounting and Tax Law,
MS Office/G Suite – especially, proficiency in Excel/Google Spreadsheets - pivot tables and macros are second nature to you,

Soft skills:

Native Polish and at least B2+ English – we work internationally so that’s a must,
Perfect time and task organization, focus on problem-solving and reaching maximum optimization,
Strategic and critical thinking – in short, you’re capable of an analytical approach,
Top-notch collaboration and communication skills – we still want you to be a part of our team!
Empathy and determination to support our amazing teams with the best solutions!
Readiness to work in a 'dynamic environment' – seriously, we’re still growing as a company, so you have to be flexible when it comes to rapid changes!

Should I join your company?
Yes, definitely.
What about working remotely?
Of course, you can choose to work remotely as a Developer. However, you’re always welcome at our Warsaw office to work with the whole team! Designers, QAs, PMs, Sales and the back office work from our HQ and have options for remote work!
What is the coding task?
The task requires writing a micro application — it is not a purely algorithmic task, but a real application, where we check coding skills. It is then evaluated by our development team, after which we send you feedback.
What does the company structure look like?
We have 8 teams: Development, QA, Project Management, Design, Marketing, Finance, Business Development, HR.
How is the architecture defined on a project?
We work on projects with the client on a partnership basis — our team advises clients on how the application should be developed. Senior Developers deal with project estimation.
Will I be working directly with the client?
Depending on the project, our developers participate in standups, reviews and calls, while Project Managers are responsible for direct contact with our clients.
